Mixing & tips

Mix the ZauberSeife concentrate with approx. 8 L of clean water. Distilled water gives an especially good result. Pour the finished mix into a flat, sufficiently wide container. Dip the cord, let it soak briefly, pull it out, let it drip for a moment and open slowly. A calm movement or a light breeze creates beautiful, shimmering bubbles. To release the bubble, bring the wands back together.

Humid air, shade and a light breeze help create especially beautiful bubbles. Don't stir the mix too much, so as little foam as possible forms.

Shelf life: The concentrate itself keeps practically indefinitely. The mixed ZauberSeife solution keeps for at least 1 year. Stored clean, cool and away from light, it typically lasts several years.

Socially made

ZauberSeife ready-made mixtures and concentrates are finished in Swiss social workshops, with plenty of know-how and care, by dedicated skilled people with disabilities. Together with IWZ AG, the slightly different workshop in the Zurich Unterland, VielfaltWerk is currently rebuilding the social work steps around the mixtures. These include filling and labelling the bottles as well as packing and dispatch.

Ideal for

For children's birthday parties, school fêtes, holiday camps and garden parties, when lots of children want to make giant soap bubbles. Schools, nurseries and childcare providers get material for a whole outdoor season in summer. Parents, godparents or grandparents use the concentrate as a refill for children who already have ZauberSeife wands. Hosts of family parties, club events and other events will also find enough supply in it, because once mixed, the mix keeps for at least a year.

Questions and answers

How much mix does the 1 L concentrate make?

From 1 L of concentrate and about 8 L of clean water you get about 9 L of ready-to-use ZauberSeife mix. Ideally use distilled water and do not stir hard, so that little foam forms. The quantity is enough for children’s parties, schools, childcare and events.

How long does the concentrate keep, and how do I store the mix?

Unmixed, the concentrate keeps practically indefinitely. Once prepared, the mix keeps for at least 1 year, and stored clean, cool and dark, in our experience several years. So you can mix some in advance.

Are wands included, and how do the bubbles work?

No, you order the wands separately, and the mix suits all ZauberSeife wands. Pour the prepared mix into a flat, wide container, dip the string, let it soak, lift it out, let it drip briefly and open slowly. Humid air, shade and a light breeze help.
