Terms and Conditions

This translation is provided for convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with VielfaltWerk GmbH, Sunnenbergstrasse 15, 8633 Wolfhausen, via vielfaltwerk.ch, by email or by phone. Different terms only apply if we agree to them in writing.

The key points in brief

  • By clicking “Order and pay”, you make a binding purchase. The confirmation arrives by email.
  • All prices are final prices in Swiss francs, and no VAT is added.
  • We deliver to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Standard delivery is free from a goods value of CHF 90, except for resellers.
  • You can return unused items within 14 days, even though Swiss law does not require this. Personalised items, projects and food are excluded. If you live in Liechtenstein and buy as a private customer, you have the statutory right of withdrawal, with fewer exceptions.
  • We only sell alcohol to people aged 18 or over.

Order and contract

The purchase contract is concluded when you submit your order, and you immediately receive a confirmation by email. Slight variations in colour, size and material are possible, because much is made by hand. If, contrary to expectations, a workshop cannot make a product, we will let you know straight away. In that case, either of us may withdraw from the purchase, and you will get back anything you have already paid.

Prices

All prices are in Swiss francs. They are final prices: VielfaltWerk GmbH is not subject to VAT, so no VAT is added. You will see delivery costs and any surcharges at checkout, before you order. Some products are only available from a minimum quantity; this is shown with the product.

Payment

You will see at checkout which payment methods are open to you: Twint, card, PostFinance Pay, Klarna, invoice and prepayment. Online payments are handled by our Swiss payment service provider Payrexx.

An invoice is payable within 5 days. For prepayment and for invoices to new customers, we ship once payment has been received; we can also deliver to existing customers beforehand. We may exclude individual payment methods without giving reasons.

If you do not pay on time, we will send you a reminder. If payment still does not arrive, we may withdraw from the contract and ask for goods already delivered to be returned.

Shipping and delivery

As a rule, we deliver to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Standard delivery costs CHF 6.50 and is free from CHF 90 worth of goods; only standard delivery is free. Separate prices apply to express delivery and to ZauberSeife resellers; you will find them at checkout and under Delivery.

We deliver to the address you give when ordering. The delivery time is shown with every product; your parcel is usually on its way within 1 to 3 working days. If something is delayed, we will get in touch with you. Some products are sent directly by the workshop, in which case your order arrives in several parcels, at no extra delivery cost.

Returns

In Switzerland, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. We voluntarily give you 14 days from receipt to let us know that you wish to return something; if your order arrives in several parcels, the last one counts. You then send us the product within 14 days of notifying us. If it comes back unused, in perfect condition and in its original packaging, we refund the purchase price and the share of the payment method surcharge that relates to it. We do this within 14 days of your notification. If the parcel is still on its way at that point, we refund as soon as it reaches us. We do not refund delivery costs you have paid, and you cover the postage for the return.

This voluntary return does not apply to personalised and individually made products, for example with engraving, or to project work and special orders such as bespoke corporate gifts. Also excluded are food, drinks and pet food, such as spices or dog snacks, even if unopened, as well as soaps, care and cleaning products and bubble solution if the closure, seal or film has been opened. For purchased vouchers, the section “Gift vouchers” applies.

If you live in Liechtenstein and buy as a private customer, Liechtenstein's law on distance and off-premises contracts allows you to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving reasons. The period runs from the day on which you, or the person you have the goods delivered to, receive the goods, and with several parcels from the last one. A short message to us is enough, for example by email or by post. The deadline is met if you send the message before the period ends. You send the goods back to us within 14 days of your message. The goods do not have to be unused or in their original packaging for this; if you use them more than is needed to examine them, we may deduct an amount for loss of value. Excluded are goods that are personalised or made to your wishes, and sealed food, drinks, soaps and care products whose seal has been opened. We refund all payments, including standard delivery, within 14 days of your message, using the same method you paid with. We do not refund the extra charge for express delivery. We may wait until the goods have reached us or you have provided proof that you sent them back. You cover the postage for the return. You can use the following form to withdraw, but you do not have to.

Withdrawal form

(If you wish to withdraw from the contract, please fill in this form and send it back to us.)
To VielfaltWerk GmbH, Sunnenbergstrasse 15, 8633 Wolfhausen, Switzerland, info@vielfaltwerk.ch:
I/We (*) hereby withdraw from the contract concluded by me/us (*) for the purchase of the following goods:
Ordered on (*) / received on (*):
Name of consumer(s):
Address of consumer(s):
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is submitted on paper):
Date:
(*) Delete as appropriate.

Defects

Please check your delivery when it arrives. Report obvious defects to us within 5 days, and hidden ones as soon as you discover them. Email is easiest, ideally with a photo. If the complaint is justified, we replace the product or repair it. If that does not work, you get the purchase price back or a price reduction, whichever you prefer. In that case we pay for delivery and the return. For damage, the section Liability applies.

Alcohol only from age 18

We sell wine and spirits only to people aged 18 or over; in the shop they are marked “18+”. If such an item is in your basket, we ask for your date of birth at checkout and check the machine-readable line of your identity card or passport. Without this proof, no purchase of alcohol is concluded. With the order we store your date of birth and the result of the check, never your document number.

By ordering, you confirm that the details are your own and that you are at least 18. If we have doubts about your age, we may cancel the order, and you get your money back.

Gift vouchers

You redeem a voucher at checkout. It is valid as stated on it, for example until a certain date or from a certain goods value. We do not pay out the value of a voucher in cash. A purchased voucher that you have not yet redeemed can be returned like a product, even with a personal message.

Questions and complaints

Write to us at info@vielfaltwerk.ch or call: 076 416 71 75. We will get back to you within one working day and find a good solution together with you.

Liability

We are liable for damage that we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. For personal injury, the law applies. We are not liable for other damage caused by slight negligence, nor for indirect and consequential damage. Mandatory provisions, such as the Product Liability Act, always apply.

Privacy

How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy.

Final provisions

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you live in Liechtenstein and buy as a private customer, the mandatory rules of Liechtenstein consumer protection also apply, for example on withdrawal and defects; where they give you more than these Terms and Conditions, they take precedence. If you order for a company, the place of jurisdiction is Zurich. If you buy as a private customer, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply, which includes your place of residence. If a provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid, the others remain in force, and the law applies in its place. Your order is governed by the version of these Terms and Conditions in force on the day of the order.
